Accomodation :-

Vaanaprastha has eleven thousand square feet of built-up area for accommodation of inmates.

The building consists of separate dormitories for both men and women, fully equipped kitchen attached with dining room,sufficient toilets and bath rooms with solar water heaters, spacious elevator to commute within the building floors, yoga hall and meditation hall, providing a homely atmosphere.

Also includes Office room, Pooja Room, Visitors room, Library and a Prayer Hall.

The Prayer cum Meditation Hall will be used by the residents who find it difficult to visit a temple for their religious requirements. It serves as a congregational space for all Vaanaprastha functions and Pooja.

Food & Dining :-

Vaanaprasthahas a fully equipped kitchen attached with the fully furnished dining room which can accommodate upto 25 persons at once.

We provide nutritious food, with the menu planned under expert medical advice. Food is strictly vegetarian and varies from day to day.

Inmates get fresh vegetables besides rice, chapatti, ragi, daal, evening snacks with milk, coffee, tea & traditional kashayam apart from regular proteins and vitamins.

Health Facilities :-

Vaanaprastha will be attached to reputed, well-established hospitals under the guidance of a variety of specialists, providing consultancy in all departments.

It will also have doctors visiting for regular check-up's to maintain good physical health of its inmates.

Yoga, meditation and stretching exercises will be held every day.

Recreational Activity or Library :-

Vaanaprastha provides a variety of indoor games like Carrom, Chess, etc and regularly organises morale boosting activities like Bhajans, Spiritual Discourses, Group Singing, etc.

In addition we will provide entertainment and information facilities like newspaper and television.

The library will have a wide range of spiritual books, magazines and novels in English, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

All Festivals will be celebrated, Pooja and Homa will be conducted regularly at the Prayer cum Meditation Hall. Religious discourses by various outside organisations will be conducted regularly.

Above all, we believe in mental and spiritual peace of the inmates. Dedicated members of the public visit to interact and keep them cheerful.

Children are encouraged to visit the Home and participate, interact and spend time with the inmates.
